Completed two more segments of GC. Enjoyed the process. Didn't enjoy the finish. I'm in the mood for a wallhanging to go up on the wall now.

I like to sit in front of my sewing machine while trimming and finger-pressing geese from scraps. Meaning with scissors and the finger pressed lines are where I sew. How positively old school and oddly speedy. Skipping the cutting table is even faster than the square method which yields four geese.

Sciatica wins today. Still no applique for Dixie although I did manage to sew on one side of binding. Narrow CW era style binding. Nice.

Seriously considering throwing in the towel and putting one of my sewing machines on a bar height table. Standing and walking are my most pain free, or mostly pain free, experiences right now.

But who cares about communicating with their fellow man? A picture is worth a thousand words, amirite!?!

Flickr is making me sarcastic. I don't like being sarcastic. I'm sure no one else likes it either. Save the world from my sarcasm: ditch the update, flickr!

I will post my timestamped 365 tomorrow.

Thank you to Alvaro de Alvariis for the image and making me aware of the changes.

Gack!

Gack! by Mule Hill
Gack!, a photo by Mule Hill on Flickr.

Via Flickr:
This visually impaired person is going to find flickr almost impossible to use.

There is too much black now. There will be more. Soon, they will only be able to add more by blacking out the photos themselves.

Black is an inappropriate choice in photography. Black is only for decor. It detracts from photos. If I had turned in an assingment matted on black, my profs would have failed me for giving them giant contact sheets instead of completed photos.

Flickr must be run by interior designers.

I have two flickr accounts. One of them is an early account. They will probably go black out of necessity. Black as in shut down. I can't use flickr if I can't see what I'm doing.

Isn't it bad enough that every update kills some basic functionality? I can't even change my avatar regardless of flash enabled side loaded browser usage or not.

Still doing my 365. Not posting them today or tomorrow on flickr. The images will be timestamped.

Thanks for the black curtain goes to andreasvoegele.

Flip phones! Lots of flip phones and characters who end sentences with ".., man." Marathoning Prison Break on Netflix. Just started season 3.

Netflix has a new howdoyoudo. After a while, the stream is stopped with a pop up that asks if you're still watching. A company famous for providing the opportunity to marathon is now pissing in the chowder. Doesn't taste good, man.
